$1.368 million for upgrade of Morduval Lane

Liverpool Plains Shire Council Deputy Mayor, Cr Ken Cudmore has welcomed an announcement of $1,368,000 which has been granted for the stage 1 rehabilitation of Morduval Lane.
Cr Cudmore said the significant investment would add another important upgrade to an overall plan by Council to develop its transport routes throughout the shire.

Liverpool Plains Shire Council’s 10-year Waste strategy has been boosted with the announcement of $1.988 million from the Round Eight of the NSW Government’s Resources for Regions program.
The funding will be used for Stage 2 of Council’s Waste Strategy for a proposed landfill design, construction with associated infrastructure at a recycled quarry west of Willow Tree.

$1M in pavement rehabilitation on Coonabarabran Road nears finish

A $1 million investment by Liverpool Plains Shire Council in road pavement rehabilitation on Coonabarabran Road will be completed by the end of the month, weather dependent. This work between Caroona Feedlot and Yarraman Creek and in the village of Spring Ridge, is in addition to shoulder rehabilitation works by Council between the Kamilaroi Hwy and Caroona completed earlier this year.

$5 Million Secured to Upgrade Liverpool Plains Regional Water Supply

Deputy Prime Minister and Member for New England, Barnaby Joyce was joined by Liverpool Plains Shire Council Mayor Doug Hawkins today to announce $5 million in Federal funding for council’s Quipolly Water Project.
The funding comes as part of today’s Building Better Regions Fund and will go towards construction of water supply infrastructure to improve water availability, quality and security.

10-year Financial Plan to guide Council towards a sustainable future

Liverpool Plains Shire Council has adopted the Long-Term Financial Plan (LFTP) 2022-2032 at its June Ordinary Council Meeting. The Plan provides a detailed financial position of Council and outlines how Council will sustainably deliver services and infrastructure to the community.

19 Liverpool Plains locals recognised at Liverpool Range RFS awards

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council has extended warm congratulations 19 Liverpool Plains residents who were recognised at the annual Liverpool Range District of the NSW Rural Fire Service awards.
Fifteen locals received National Emergency Medals (NEMs), two received Rural Fire Service Long Service Medals (LSMs) and two received Deployment Mementos in recognition for their assistance.
