Following a period of 28 days public exhibition and the consideration of two submissions received, Liverpool Plains Shire Council has adopted the Combined Delivery Program 2022-2032 and Operational Plan 2022-2023.
The Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Framework requires Council to adopt a Delivery Program outlining the principal activities it will undertake to achieve the objectives contained in its Community Strategic Plan. The Delivery Program covers a four-year period and is set around the four main outcomes of the Community Strategic Plan which are Community, Governance, Environment and Economy.
The annual Operational Plan which includes a detailed budget outlines the services, projects, programs and events that Council proposes to undertake in 2022-2023, in order to deliver on the various activities contained in the Delivery Program.
Mayor Doug Hawkins OAM said Council continues to provide a wide range of services and programs to our community and maintain local infrastructure, while working hard to improve the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability.
“The Councillors, General Manager, senior staff and I are looking forward to delivering quality outcomes for Liverpool Plains over this term of office.
"On behalf of Council, I would like to thank those who provided feedback during the public exhibition period of the Delivery Program and the Operational Plan. The adopted program and plan will guide us in achieving the community’s vision for a sustainable and successful future for the Liverpool Plains," he concluded.
