Public Exhibition Notice –
Draft Growth Management & Housing Strategy
Notice is hereby given that Council has prepared a Draft Growth Management & Housing Strategy that is available for public inspection and comment.
Exhibition Period: Wednesday 29 November 2023 to Friday 1 March 2024
The main objectives of the proposed Strategy are to identify:
- the barriers to growth and means of overcoming such barriers
- the opportunities to promoted and realised growth in the Shire.
Council invites all interested parties to participate in the various meetings and information sessions and to make submissions on any relevant matters, such as where the actions, initiatives or information can be improved or made more relevant.
Inspection of the Draft Strategy can be viewed at:
- Liverpool Plains Shire Council Administration Building at 60 Station St Quirindi.
- Quirindi and Werris Creek Libraries
- Liverpool Plains Shire Council’s website at: www.liverpoolplains.nsw.gov.au under the "Public Notices" tab

- Thursday 8 February 2024, 6.00 pm, Currabubula Hall, 53 Davis Street, Currabubula
- Thursday 15 February 2024, 6.00 pm, Spring Ridge Hall, 82 Darby Road, Spring Ridge
- Tuesday 20 February 2024, 6.00 pm, Wallabadah Hall, 37 Martyn Street, Wallabadah
- Thursday 22 February 2024, 6.00 pm, Willow Tree War Memorial Hall, 14-15 New England Highway, Willow Tree
Written submissions can be made regarding the Draft Strategy up until the day the exhibition period ends. There is no specific format for submissions, however, they should specify any support, objections, or concerns about the any specific actions, initiatives or information or the Strategy as a whole.
