LPSC seeking tenders - Yarraman Creek

On display until 28 February 2025, 12:00 PM

Liverpool Plains Shire Council (LPSC) is seeking tender applications for the Design and Construction works to replace the existing culvert over the Yarraman Creek located approximately 5.7km east of Spring Ridge, NSW on the Coonabarabran Road.

Currently the existing culvert over the Yarraman Creek services the village of Spring Ridge and is a transport access route to western NSW. LPSC wish to reduce the vulnerability of the community and local assets during natural disasters.

The upgrade works are proposed to include:

  • The design and installation of a bypass for traffic use during the construction of the new structure.
  • Removal of the existing low flow box culvert bridge, and replacement with either a new box culvert or bridge.

It is intended that the design features and final configuration associated with the bridge will be determined as part of a design & construction (D&C) tender.

The call for tenders was posted on TenderLink on the 17 December 2024 and will close on 28 February 2025.  A site meeting planned for the 13 January 2025, will provide potential contractors the opportunity to inspect the site and discuss the project with an LPSC representative.
