Liverpool Plains Shire Council has a bumper school holiday program to keep the kids entertained these Winter School Holidays. Our School Holiday Program is returning from Tuesday 5 July to Friday 15 July 2022 with a range of returning favourites and new activities for children and young people aged five years and above.

Mayor Doug Hawkins OAM said the School Holiday Program has something for all ages from activities at Council’s libraries, to NAIDOC celebrations and even an earthquake survival game. It’s also affordable with all activities free but you will need to register to secure your child’s spot by contacting Quirindi Library on 6746 2350 or Werris Creek Library on 6768 7340.

Activities on offer at Council’ libraries include painting your own flower pot, LEGO and DUPLO activities, a Mini Matisse art workshop and rock painting.

If you haven’t been to the library for a while why not visit Quirindi or Werris Creek Libraries where they have a huge range of DVDs, books, music and digital collections available to borrow for littlies through to teens. If you are not a library member, it’s free to join. Just drop in to one of Council’s libraries with some ID and fill in a registration form. Alternatively you can visit www.cnl.nsw.gov.au and follow the links to register, before visiting the library with your ID to collect your card.

Full details on the School Holiday Program can be found at the Quirindi Library, Werris Creek Library, Library Facebook pages, Council Facebook page or Council’s website at www.liverpoolplains.nsw.gov.au
