Pursuant to section 9 of the Local Government Act 1993, notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary Meeting of Liverpool Plains Shire Council will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, 12 February 2025 at the Council Chambers located at 60 Station Street, Quirindi for the appointment of an acting General Manager.

As a result of the recent storms, Council is offering free disposal of green waste until Sunday, 9 February 2025 at the following facilities:
Quirindi Landfill
Werris Creek Transfer Station
Willow Tree Landfill
Caroona Transfer Station
Pine Ridge Transfer Station
Premer Transfer Station
Spring Ridge Transfer Station

Please note this offer is only available to residents.

LPSC seeking tenders - Yarraman Creek

Gary Murphy steps down as Council's General Manager

Mr Gary Murphy has resigned as General Manager of Liverpool Plains Shire Council, with his final day of employment being 14 February 2025.

Mr Murphy, who was appointed as General Manager by the former Council in May 2023, is leaving to take up a new opportunity outside of the local government sector.
